According to an intelligence blog posted by Kevin Rose, Apple is going to be unveiling their second generation iPad in a few weeks’ time.

In the past, Rose has usually been ‘spot on’ with his predictions and is also known to have a number of sources ‘inside Infinite Loop’.

Rose stated that – The iPad 2 will “possibly [be on] Tuesday February 1^st”. Rose said that the iPad2 will feature a ‘higher DPI display’ specifically for the iPad and two cameras – one back and front facing which had already been predicted a while back.

Microsoft have something to celebrate this week after Stats Counter released information that Microsoft’s Windows 7 currently has a very tidy 25 per cent of the PC market. Windows 7′s famous predecessor, Windows XP has slipped into 50 per cent which is rather remarkable considering two newer operating systems have been released since.

It’s been estimated that Windows 7 will reach 300 million licenses before the end of the year. It was recorded that Microsoft had sold over 240 million licenses back in October.

Sources say that 93 per cent of computers now come pre-installed with Windows 7 – which is a rather large number.
