It seems as if Apple is so happy with the cloud and the success of their App Store for Mac’s, they are considering moving their boxed software from their retail outlets onto the App Store.

The Mac App Store launched last month for the latest version of Mac OS 10.6 Snow Leopard, and it is set to become one of the more crucial

components for the upcoming Mac OS X Lion, expected to be released this summer.

According to Mac Rumours who originally wrote the article, the ‘space free’ from the Mac software could be used to stack more eye catching products like iPad’s, other iOS devices and accessories.

Uncertainty is still surrounding what will be happening to Microsoft’s Office and Adobe’s Photoshop as they aren’t currently on the Mac App Store.
