Why you are at SpiderGroup (Role Description)

As a Digital Marketing Account Manager, you’re responsible for the optimization of your clients digital marketing activities. Tracking both key marketing metrics and analysis of your results each month. You will have overall responsibility of your clients account to constantly check the quality and efficiency of the optimization activities you will be undertaking. You are also required to build relationships with your clients and advance their accounts to improve month on month.


What you will do (Responsibilities)

* Manage the daily checks and optimization tasks for your clients’ accounts. Including SEO, PPC, Facebook advertising and Social media management

* Interpret data for analysis and identify patterns in the market on which to act

* Provide proactive actions to underperforming accounts

* Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns, and communicate those findings along with suggestions for improvements or changes to the appropriate department head and your client

* Ability to explain digital marketing actions and strategy to the client and handle any complaints in a professional manner

* Pay consistent attention to your clients’ needs and goals while building a solid working relationship

* Become a thought leader within your specialist field – This will be identified to you by your Line Manager and findings should be reported directly to them

* Report any issues, underperformance and weaknesses that may affect your clients or the digital department

* Creating custom delivery plans for customers over 6 month rolling periods, ensuring the plans meet the customer’s needs and have clearly documented outcomes.

What you need to know (Skills & experience)

* Experience of working with websites to optimize content and search listings

* A creative flair for editing and writing great content, across a range of styles

* Proficient at using Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, WordPress and other CMS systems

* A good understanding of SEO

* You will have two years’ experience in a similar role, working in a digital agency or managing multi-channel campaigns

* Experience working with pay per click ads (primarily Google and Facebook)

* An understanding of content writing and marketing

* An interest in keeping abreast of industry developments and trends

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a confident approach when liaising with all levels of staff including Directors and Senior Managers within the business and with client stakeholders

* An analytical mind able to read and analyse large quantities of data

* A curious attitude to discover new trends in the market and report these to the team

* Ability to manage your own workload and keep accurate records

* Project management and planning skills – proven experience of managing multiple web projects, tracking and resourcing them
