We heard last week that Nokia were going into a joint venture with Microsoft – reasons being to pull Nokia out of the dark and give them a boost with sales.
The benefit of the joint venture is that all Windows Phone 7 users will benefit from this Nokia and Microsoft working together as Nokia is going to get developers to develop new programs for the Windows Phone 7 platform (which is desperately needs).
But rumours have it that Nokia and Microsoft have been working together well before they announced last Friday about their joint venture and it looks as if we already have proof of their first concept device.
In an Engadget exclusive, images of the devices display an ‘ergonomic design’, fitted in a pretty similar Nokia hardware shell like the N8 and C7.
Unlike the other Windows Phone 7’s, Nokia are going to produce their phones in a rather luscious range of colours.
The Nokia logo is situated at the back of the phone as well as on the front – very typical of Nokia and their design.
Both Zath and Engadget seem to like the design of the phone but I’m not too sure, it is very different to the current Windows Phone 7 line up – but that could be its key seller.
No specifications have been released yet; all we can do is wait and see what happens and which handset comes out on top-trumps.
