With the Google Nexus S being released less than a few weeks ago and some great specification already inside of it, hackers over at an XDA Forum ‘Morfic’ managed to get the Google phone overclocked in par to an LG Optimus which has a dual-core processor.

The Nexus S currently has a single-core Hummingbird processor – Mofic managed to get the CPU to 1.2Ghz based on a new kernel ‘NBionix NS1’ modification.

Please note: Using this mod on your Goggle phone is pretty easy but any users who do this modification is at their own warranty and may damage the device.
