SpiderGroup are delighted and very proud to be headline sponsor of the Go Green for Dyslexia campaign.
What is the campaign about?
The first week of October (1st-7th) is Dyslexia Awareness Week. Nessy is organising the ‘Go Green for Dyslexia’ campaign which aims to increase the level of awareness of dyslexia throughout the nation and abroad and raise funds for the British Dyslexia Association.
We’re encouraging businesses, schools and homes to show a green light in support of dyslexia.
The campaign has already gained huge amounts of support with several high-profile landmarks in Bristol agreeing to go green for the occasion, including Bristol Zoo and the SS Great Britain.
Businesses and schools continue to sign up in support and the campaign has gathered so much momentum that both the BBC and ITV have agreed to cover the story as it unfolds.
Why we’re sponsoring
Nessy has been making fun, educational software for children since 1999 and has developed a reputation for exceptional quality.
They became a customer of ours over a year ago and SpiderGroup support them with a tailored Dynamics 365 software service as well as a cloud computing service through Microsoft Azure.
It’s been a rewarding experience helping Nessy to do such great things with our business technology services.
“As soon as we found out about the campaign we wanted to show our support. Dyslexia is such an important cause, so we jumped at the chance to help spread awareness and get involved in the campaign in any way we could” says James Cook, CEO of SpiderGroup.
We’re encouraging all of our friends, colleagues and clients to show their support for dyslexia.
GO GREEN - Light up your building, take a photo and send it to Nessy so they can share your support with their followers.
With awareness and support we can encourage people who may be affected by dyslexia to:
- Go and get information
- Go and get tested
- Go and get help
