headerIt’s time to talk tech with the latest in our popular Tech Talks series.

Tech Talks 14 is taking place on Wednesday, November 25th from 3:30PM in a brand new location – right next to SpiderGroup’s very own offices in central Bristol.

The event will feature three speakers from the local business community each talking for 20 minutes about an area of technology or business which can help small and medium enterprises.

Tech Talks Bristol was founded by technology enthusiasts SpiderGroup to connect people in Bristol through technology and business themed events that educate and inspire.

It’s a great opportunity to connect with other local tech businesses, get the inside scoop on what’s happened in the local industry and get practical tips on improving your business.

There’ll also be plenty of refreshments to keep you going!

The speakers for this event are Sarah Owen, franchise owner of the Referral Institute UK, Ollie Culverhouse, owner of Signable and Iouri Prokhorov, managing director of Helastel.

Sarah Owen is one of Europe’s leading experts in the field of referral marketing. Sarah will be talking about the FloppyDISC system for understanding the behavioural styles of colleagues, clients and business associates to improve communication and enhance relationships. Sarah’s speaking style has been called “empowering” “educational” and “very, very, very funny”.

Olly Culverhouse set up a web development company in 2007 which pivoted to become Signable, the UK’s largest electronic signature provider. Olly will explain how he grew a technology startup in the Bristol area, including challenges he faced and the local resources and services he used to help overcome them.

Iouri Prokhorov works with national and multi-national companies to improve their business and realise their vision with outstanding software. Iouri’s talk will cover innovative ways to manage technology projects more effectively, whether internal or client focused, with some fantastic examples of how projects can go really well or very badly.
