How to grant access to my Google Ads account

Here's a step-by-step guide on how to add users to your Google Ads account

  1. Sign In: Log in to your Google Ads account with administrative access.
  2. Access Tools & Settings: Click on the "Tools & Settings" icon, usually found in the top right corner of the Google Ads interface.
  3. Navigate to User Management: From the dropdown menu, select "Access and Security" and then click on the "Users" tab.
  4. Add New User: Click the blue plus (+) button to begin adding a new user.
  5. Enter User Details: Type in the email address of the user you wish to add.
  6. Set Access Level: Choose the appropriate access level for the user based on their role. Access levels include administrative, standard, and read-only, among others, each allowing varying degrees of control over the account.
  7. Customise Settings (Optional): You can further customise settings such as specific campaign access or restrictions if necessary.
  8. Send Invitation: After setting the access level and customising settings, click "Send invitation". This will email the user an invitation to join the Google Ads account.
  9. Confirmation: Once the invitation is sent, you should see a confirmation message indicating that the user has been successfully invited.
