Coronavirus Offers and Resources for Business

Lots of suppliers and businesses are offering special deals and resources to help companies during the coronavirus crisis...

By Natalie Howells

It has been extremely heartening to see how many companies over the past few weeks have created special offers, trials, and free options to help support businesses through the current crisis.

We've rounded up some of the biggest and most helpful offers around right now - if you'd like to learn more about any of them, let us know. We're here to help.

HubSpot

HubSpot have introduced a number of offers to help out - given that maintaining marketing is one of the most important ways to get through a crisis like this and prepare your business for what comes next, these offers are extremely beneficial.

  • Adding free tools: paid Meetings functionality, Quotes, E-Sign, and 1:1 Video creation tools are now completely free for 90 days from when you activate them.
  • Removing limits:  for the next 90 days, marketing email send limits for Marketing Hub Professional and Enterprise customers have been suspended, and limits on calling for Starter and Professional customers of Sales Hub and Service Hub have been increased to 2,000 minutes/month.
  • Reducing prices: the Starter Growth Suite has been reduced from $112.50 USD/month to $50 USD/month. For 12 months from purchase of this offer, all existing and new Starter Growth Suite customers will have access to the bundle of marketing, sales, and services software at the reduced price. This change will be rolled out in the coming weeks.

If you want to know more, we're a Gold HubSpot Partner and would be more than happy to help get you set up.

Microsoft Teams

Microsoft is offering a free six-month trial of the premium Teams chat app, as well as 1TB of storage to help businesses stay in touch with remote workers during this time.

On top of this, a free 6-month Office 365 E1 Trial, including Microsoft Teams, is now available to support the increased numbers of people working from home.

Get in touch with us today and we can get you set up with your free trial.

Vidyard

Vidyard already offer free versions of their video messaging app and their video hosting and publishing platform

In response to the challenges caused by the coronavirus pandemic, Vidyard has now introduced a new free offering, Vidyard for Internal Communications, to help remote workers stay connected with each other via secure video content and messaging.

Internal comms are especially important when you're managing an entirely remote workforce (especially one that's not used to being fully remote), so this tool is a great help in staying in touch.

Virtual Networking

We wanted to help and support people in staying connected and empowered during this time. So we set up a virtual networking event - AltNet.

It's held every Wednesday lunchtime and we're bringing together businesses to meet, chat, share ideas and support. Most of our in-person events have been cancelled, so this is a way to help stay in touch, meet new people, and keep business running.

So far, feedback has been extremely positive, and we're opening up the event to anyone in business. Please feel free to join in whenever you're available.

Hootsuite

Hootsuite is a social media scheduling tool. In order to help businesses retain customer and audience relationships, they are offering their professional level free until 1st July 2020 (as it stands at the time of publishing).

The pro licence allows you to connect more accounts and schedule more posts in advance than the free version, so it can definitely help if you want to get ahead of things and plan more of your content.

Ubersuggest

Ubersuggest is a freemium SEO, content, and keyword tool that recently started charging for some its features.

In light of the current crisis, the tool now has more free elements, including historical keyword data, more content ideas, and backlink data. Neil Patel, the man behind the tool, promises more functionality over the coming weeks, too.

Duo Security

Duo Security enables businesses to verify user identities before granting access to applications.

They have now introduced a new offer, allowing existing customers to exceed their user limit to support an increase in remote workers, and new customers to access a free license.

Affinity Photo

Affinity is an alternative to Adobe Creative Suite. All packages are currently 50% off to help more businesses access to powerful image editing software. As images are how we can all stand out better on social media, this is a useful way to make sure you have a strong brand identity.

Marketing Consultations

Another way we're trying to help businesses is to offer free, expert marketing consultations.

We'll run through how to do marketing responsibly during a global crisis, what to look out for, how to help, and all the other elements you need to make sure you don't forget about marketing at this time, and that equally you're doing it in a way that leaves your audience with good feelings about you.
